                Whole House Filter Replacement Info:

We recommend replacing all the filters in your whole house system every 12 months to maintain optimum water quality.

Replacement is simple process and usually doesn't need the services of a plumber.
Step 1. Turn off the water going into the system
Step 2. Turn on a tap to drain the remaing water left in the pipes - don't be alarmed if only a little or no water is released.
Step 3. Depress the small red button on top of each housing to release the pressure inside the housing.
Step 4. Using the spanner/wrench supplied with the unit slip it over the housing and turn to loosen the housing.
Step 5. Unscrew the housing by hand and remove the water and old filter.
Step 6. Insert the new filter and screw back the housing into place giving a final tighten with the spanner/ wrench. Note: Make sure the housing is tight but don't overtighten it.
Step 7. Always make sure the sediment filter is positioned closest to the water inlet so it can filter the larger conaminants and protect the more expensive downline filters.
Step 8. Turn the water back on and run a tap for several minutes to flush any air or carbon dust out of the new filter media.
Step 9. Check for any leaks and if required tighten the housings further to seal the leak.
